Back to the Sewing Corner

I finally have time to start my craft show items for 2010. To get back into the swing of things, i have created an up-cycled tote from a piece of beautiful faux fur that was like new that I saved from a favorite coat that was only two years old, but the lining was beyond repair. I washed the coat to see if the fur would hold up and it laundered beautifully. With the fur that I salvaged, I created this beautiful bucket bag that has decorative cording for straps, fastened with gold grommets. The bag closes with a button and loop closure. Inside, I added some pockets for small items. The bag measures 14 inches across the top, 9" high, and is boxed at the bottom with a measurement of 4" x 10". The drop measures 16" when hanging. This is truly a one-of-a-kind designer-styled bag. If you would like to see more one-of-a-kind bags, please visit my shop on etsy.Oh yes the button is a beautiful pearl finish on gold to give the bag an extra touch of elegance.
